Introduction

Gallery Taik Persons was established in 1995 in Helsinki Finland. It is the prime gallery for those selected artists who now make up what is known as the "Helsinki School". It has grown into one of the leading photographic galleries in northern Europe with its permanent exhibition space situated in Berlin since 2003.

Gallery Taik Persons participates in several international art fairs, Paris Photo since 2002, ARCO since 2008 and Artissima since 2009, and actively works with the publishing house Hatje Cantz in creating books and touring museums exhibitions for its primary artists.

Its creator and director Timothy Persons is also a senior curator for the Kulturhuset in Stockholm and the Danish National Museum of Photography in Copenhagen.
