In between

The "in-between" as a concept can be found in the process as well as in the subject of my works; my aesthetic expression is never only based on the mere appearance of the work, but to the same degree on the logic how the images are made. I have made use of the possibilities of data processing technologies in connection with digital images. With a self-made software, I made it possible to calculate the differences of images. This process reveals the in-between of images and creates a visual language that is not based on the traces of light, but on the changes occurring between captured moments.
